PLEASE CALL!!!!!

TAKE ACTION TODAY!  CALL THE WHITE HOUSE

Stop Obama's Funding Freeze!

Tell President Obama Not to Play Politics with
People Living With and Affected by HIV/AIDS

Monday night (1/25), President Barack Obama floated the idea of freezing all funding for all non-defense discretionary spending for three years. That means:

NO new money for AIDS treatment
NO new money for housing
NO new money for HIV prevention
NO new money for any of the programs we care about...

...for the rest of Obama's term!

Who does this hurt? Not big business or the military (where funding will continue to grow). It hurts poor people, the disabled and people with HIV/AIDS in the United States and around the world.

We're in the middle of an economic crisis, and people are losing their jobs, their homes, their health care. Waiting lists are growing every day for housing, and AIDS treatment and care. Syringe exchanges can finally get federal funding, but now there's no new money to fund them.

We have to push back and tell Obama not to play politics with people's lives!

TAKE ACTION TODAY!  CALL THE WHITE HOUSE

Call the White House and leave a message for Obama:

"We cannot fix the budget on the backs of the poor, disabled and disenfranchised.
Do not flat fund discretionary funding or global AIDS programs that save lives!"
